FRANKLIN
The Pink is Powerful Cancer Support Group is teaming up with Franklin Social Services to collect food for 25 families this holiday season. Further, PiP is adopting an Angel Tree family, whose name was provided by Social Services.
Audrey Lee, director of PiP, said that designated funds from the organization will be used for the Angel Tree project.
If any individual or groups would like to contribute food to the baskets, call Lee at 556-5765, and she’ll give details about donating.
The deadline to assist is on Wednesday, Dec. 18.
