Area churches, civic groups and organizations are combining efforts with a goal of reaching out ‘beyond the pews’ of traditional churches while sharing the Christmas story.

Organizers will sponsor a drive through Community Living Nativity from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Barrett’s Landing on Wednesday, Dec. 18 through Friday, Dec. 20.

Live music and refreshments will be served nightly. Spectators are invited to drive along Barrett’s Landing to see the scenes leading to the stable in Bethlehem where Jesus was born.

Pictured are volunteers representing participating organizations: Sammara Green-Bailey (City of Franklin Parks and Recreation); Nathan Decker (High Street United Methodist); Kent Stephenson (High Street United Methodist); Kathy Worrell (High Street United Methodist); Mark Waller (High Street United Methodist); Billie Turner (Franklin Baptist Church); Trish Tsitsera (Franklin-Southampton Area United Way); Charles Qualls (Franklin Baptist Church); and Mike Holloman (Franklin Baptist Church).
