At Southampton High School, the students and teachers created a Career and Technical Education community event called the #seeme campaign. The SkillsUSA members came up with the idea for officers, students and members of the community to get together in support of each other. Officers from Isle of right and Southampton County interacted with the students and community members by having scooter races, corn hole, basketball and coloring with the younger students. In the auditorium they made lip-sync battle videos that were later posted on YouTube. Sharing in these activities and eating lunch together helped students and officers establish a bond benefitting all parties. This event was such a success it will become an annual event. The CTE/SkillsUSA club welcomed over 60 people this year and hope to grow the event in the future.
