Police offer collection box for unwanted meds
FRANKLIN
The Franklin Police Department has partnered with CVS/pharmacy to put a drug collection box in the lobby of the Franklin Police Department, 1018 Pretlow St. This box will be available to the public 24 hours a day.
The drug collection box will take all your unwanted prescriptions and medications. You can come right into the lobby and drop them off with no questions asked.
However, department will not accept sharps, Epi pens, needles, syringes, IV bags, thermometers, items with mercury in them, empty containers, personal care items and illegal drugs or paraphernalia.
