SHS FBLA represents at conference

Southampton Future Business Leaders of America recently represented at the Colonial Region Fall Conference at Thomas Nelson Community College with 13 schools in attendance.
Representing from Southampton High School were Cameron Morgan as regional vice president; Isabelle Araojo as regional reporter; Jalayla Artis-Smith as regional secretary; Natasha Preau and Melissa Edwards as co-regional directors.
The conference introduced the new regional officers and the regions goals for the 2019-2020 school year.
Throughout the day, guest speakers from Scholarship Sharing came and spoke to students along with FBLA information sessions and games. The event ended with the business closing session.
All schools in the region will meet up again in the spring for regional competitions to qualify for the State Leadership Conference.
