FRANKLIN — Malita Rawls “Lee Lee” Askew, 99, passed away on Nov. 13, 2019, in Courtland Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Malita was a retired administrative secretary for Union Camp Corporation, and a member of Gates County Historical Society.

Left to cherish her memory are two nieces, Sheryl Ann Rawls and Charla R. Darden; a great-niece; a great-great niece; and a great-great nephew.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 15, in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Cody Brinkley officiating. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home, and suggests memorial donations may be made to any favorite charity.
