Pictured above: Fifth grade students Kyle Drake, Richard Sawyer and Kamya Banks help club sponsor Patti Watkinson protect the school environment as part of the Meherrin Elementary School Green Team. Each week, the team travels from classroom to classroom collecting the recyclables from their respective receptacles and deposit them into the larger collection bin outside. The team would like to encourage everyone to reduce, reuse and recycle.
