Dairy Queen salutes first responders

FRANKLIN

This past Monday, the 14 Dairy Queen restaurants in Western Tidewater paid tribute to the men and women who serve as police officers, deputies, Virginia State Police, firefighters and EMT’s. All such individualS in uniform were treated to a free chili cheese dog and shake.

Further, 20 percent of sale went to Vigilant Watch, which helps supports regional public safety officials and their families who are suffering financial or physical hardships.
