Junius Bradshaw celebrated his 95th birthday this month. Being known locally as the Kite Man, Bradshaw has assisted hundreds of kids with his craftsmanship of paper and string.

After a Cub Scout project with his son, Gerald, he never dreamed his work would take him to the “Today” Show and the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.

With a tool kit built at Union Camp, Bradshaw even flew one of his creations two miles up.

Here, he’s pictured with his younger son, Steve.
