FRANKLIN
The Franklin Department of Parks and Recreation will host its sixth annual Fall-O-Rama this Thursday, Oct. 24, from 4 to 7 p.m., in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center.
The party will feature food, fun, music, lots of candy, games and prizes.
Speaking of which, a Halloween costume contest is open to children ages 1 through 4 and 5 through 9. Contestants must, of course, wear a costume to compete.
Children under 6 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Movie Night at Barrett’s Landing Park will be on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 4 p.m. Disney’s “Hocus Pocus,” will be featured.
Admission and popcorn are both free, though water and hot chocolate will be available for purchase.
Bring a blanket or lawn chair.
