Stephenson cousins reunite in Outer Banks

The grandchildren of James Harvey and Nora Stephenson had a cousins reunion at the Outer Banks in North Carolina on July 30-31, 2019.
The parents of the cousins were Josephine S. Howell, Julian, Jack, Robert and Gilbert Stephenson.
Cousins were Sherren Holland, Frances Ferguson, Barbara Mathews, Faye Evans, Lucille Brock, Lynda Bond, Peggy Johnson, Amelia Spivey, Jane Armistead and Nancy Reedy.
Three of the Stephenson grandchildren have passed away. Alton Stephenson, Joyce Bracey and Betty Cauley were remembered.
On July 30, a Low Country Boil was held at the cottage of Barbara Mathews and Faye Evans. A game of questions about music from the ’50s and ’60s was enjoyed by all.
On July 31, Jane Armistead and Nancy Reedy held an afternoon of childhood games followed by dinner of hot dogs and beans. Old memories were remembered and new memories were made at both functions.
Fun was had by all!
