Meherrin develops ‘dots’ of inspiration

Inspired Meherrin Elementary students seek to inspire others with their creations based on the story, “The Dot,” by Peter H. Reynolds. It tells the story of a young lady who began with no confidence in herself, but with the encouragement of a great teacher, she went on to try her best and make a difference in the process.
Principal Rickeita Jones read the story to the student body via Facebook live on Sunday night to start the process.
The students of school librarian, Julie Darden, decided to emulate that difference-maker attitude with their own dots of inspiration for the whole school to see.
