On Friday evening, Isle of Wight County issued an alert using its IW Alert system informing residents that the Camptown Refuse & Recycling Center at 34010 Carver Drive, Franklin, will be closed today, Sept. 21, so that utility crews can work on a sewer main issue in the area.
