Rhea Winslow Reynolds and Clyde Reynolds

NEWSOMS — Rhea Winslow Reynolds, 81, widow of the late Clyde Reynolds, passed away on Aug. 23, 2019, in her home.

Born in Ticonderoga, New York, she was a daughter of the late Glen and Hazel Matthews Varmette. Rhea was also predeceased by her first husband, Nathan Frank Winslow Jr.; a son, Nathan Frank “Frankie” Winslow III; two sisters, Linda and Evelyn; and a brother, Stanley Varmette.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, word search books and cooking.

Left to cherish her memory are two daughters Teresa Cobb (Steve) and Yvonne Wilkerson (Mark); two sons, Donald and Richard Winslow; a step-daughter, Darla Reynolds; a sister, Pat; a brother, Donny Varmette; six grandchildren, Hunter Winslow, Ryan Winslow, Nathan Cobb (Misty), Eric Cobb, Bailey Wilkerson and Shea Wilkerson; five step-grandchildren, David Sweeny, Alyssa Sweeny, Casey Sinwelski, Shen Primack, Robin Sinwelski; two great grandchildren Aiden and Autumn Cobb; and seven step great grandchildren Antonio, Izabella, Valentino, and Angelino Barjic, Victoria Sinwelski, Ember Sweeny, and Charlotte Loeffler; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, in Wright Funeral Home with Drew Dunn officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home, and suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Boykins Volunteer Rescue Squad.
