FRANKLIN

Franklin Power and Light has confirmed that all its city residential customers have had their power restored.

There are reportedly crews from Danville and Martinsville who are still assisting with business customers. Franklin’s municipal center remains closed for business to the public.

No details are yet available as to the number of people whose electricty went out after Tuesday’s storms knocked out power lines and trees that evening.
