The Chowan University North Carolina Phi chapter of the Alpha Chi honor society inducted 15 students for membership this past spring.

Among the new members is Rebekah L. Hill of Franklin

Alpha Chi also recognized the seniors who would be graduating this spring and presented them with honor cords to wear during this year’s commencement ceremony.

The graduating seniors are:

Samantha Jackson of Sedley

Blake Rutledge of Newsoms

As a general honor society, Alpha Chi admits to membership students from all academic disciplines. To be tapped for membership at ChowanUniversity, a student must have successfully completed 24 hours of class credit at Chowan, earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and be ranked within the top 10 percent of the junior and senior classes combined.
