CARRSVILLE

An as-yet unnamed pedestrian has died as the result of an accident that took place today, July 26, in the 1400 block of Carrsville Highway in Isle of Wight County. Sgt. Michele Anaya, spokeswoman for the Virginia State Police, informed the paper that at approximately 3:29 p.m., the VSP were notified of the accident, which also involved an SUV.

She added that troopers are on the scene and have confirmed this to be a fatality.
