GREENSVILLE COUNTY

At approximately 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, after an extensive manhunt, the Virginia State Police canine team located the pursuit suspect, Nestor D. Cardona-Moreno from Woodside, New York, into custody in Greensville County. This information comes from VSP spokeswoman Sgt. Michelle Anaya.

Cardona-Moreno, 29, has been charged with felony obstruction and felony assault of a law enforcement officer. Further charges are pending after Commonwealth case review.

On Monday, the VSP had been seeking the male driver who fled a traffic stop at exit 13 on Interstate 95 in Greensville County.
