Southampton County voters interested in meeting candidates for public office this Election Day will have an early opportunity to do so. By early, we mean 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 20. The meet-and-greet will take place in the 460 Cafe and Farmers Market, 37019 General Mahone Blvd., Ivor.

Donna DeGroat, properietor, said all candidates for public office, not just the potential newcomers, have been invited.

She added that coffee will be provided, and a breakfast buffet is available for an extra cost.
