Camp25 hosts soccer league

FRANKLIN

The Camp25 Soccer League, in partnership with Franklin Department of Parks and Recreation, started on June 12. The season is made up of two divisions: Midget – ages 4-6; and Junior – ages 7-11. The league will consist of six teams with a total of 70 soccer players.

All teams were sponsored and named after local businesses/organizations. The teams’ names included Engram Funeral Home, Camp25, Franklin Parks and Recreation, Individual Choices Inc., Coach P LLC. and Debs Hair Studio.

Games have been played at Armory Park Football Field.

The season has three more games left and are scheduled to play on Monday, July 15, at 6 and 7 p.m.

Camp25 is a non-profit organization that provides camps for kids when school is out. Programs include one-day camps, spring break camps, summer camps and the soccer league.
