Sussex man charged with homicide in Southampton County

A 20-year-old Sussex man is reportedly in custody on the charge of killing a woman on Angelico Road early Sunday morning, according to officials with the Southampton County Sheriff’s Office.
Issac O’Neal Taylor
Diamond Mon-ae Daniels, 20, a student at the University of North Carolina, was found dead at her home in the 24000 block of Angelico Road. She had allegedly been killed at approximately 4 a.m. The suspect is her stepbrother, Issac O’Neal Taylor.
About an hour after the alleged crime, the suspect reportedly turned himself into the Sussex County Sheriff’s Office, saying that he had killed someone.
Taylor is charged with first-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
