Students who consistently met their Accelerated Reader goals all year celebrated with a water slide, bounce house, obstacle course and popsicles.

Wayne Fetrow of Meherrin Elementary School slipped and sled down the water slide along with other successful Accelerated Readers.

Our librarian, Joronda Baxter, organized this event with the help other MES staff, parent volunteers, school board member Bill Worsham and central office staff Rhonda Chambliss. We are proud of our students for setting goals and reaching them especially goals in reading. We hope to continue to foster a love of reading.
