VDOT announces road closure

The Virginia Department of Transportation announced on Friday it plans to temporarily close Route 632 (Old Myrtle Road) in Carrsville starting on Monday, June 10. This will be done for a bridge replacement project. The road is expected to reopen on Friday, June 28.
VDOT will have a detour in place along Route 612 (Freeman Drive) and Route 611 (Joyners Bridge Road).
Motorists should follow signs for a detour.
