Local students to attend Governor’s schools

Claire Hoctor, left, and Serenity Everette will be attending Governor’s schools in the fall.
Claire, who attended Southampton Academy this year, will be going to the Appomattox Regional Governor’s School. Serenity, who attended J.P. King Jr. Middle School this year, will be going to the Norfolk Governor’s School of the Arts.
Wallace Johnson, center, is the Gifted Coordinator for Franklin City Public Schools.
