Franklin Baptist Church has presented its annual scholarships. The FBC Scholarship Fund provides financial support to active church members who are continuing their education.

A solid academic record is required of student applicants.

This year’s recipients are, clockwise from left: Danielle Moore, a junior at Longwood University; Sydney Walton, a junior at Longwood University; Madison “Maddie” Suiter, a freshman at UNC Wilmington; Claudia Stout, a freshman at Christopher Newport University; and Jackson Howell, a senior at Radford University.

Since the inception of the fund in 2005, scholarships in excess of $177,000 have been awarded to church members.
