FRANKLIN — David ‘Bully’ Darden, 88, of Franklin, Virginia, transitioned from this earthly life on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, while in the care of Courtland Health and Rehabilitation Center in Courtland, Virginia.

T.L. Faison’s Funeral Care LLC at 301 Park St., in Seaboard, North Carolina, has been entrusted with the arrangement, where there was a viewing from 1 to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 7.

The homegoing celebration will be at noon on Saturday, June 8, in Galilee Baptist Church, 15688 Old Branchville Road, Branchville, Virginia, with the Rev. Frank Lucas Jr. delivering words of comfort.

Mr. Darden will lie in state one hour prior to service. He will be laid to rest at Rising Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Branchville.
