WASHINGTON, D.C. — Charlie H. Mayfield of Northeast Washington, D.C., passed away on May 22, 2019.

The family will receive friends on May 31, from 1 to 2 p.m., in the chapel of Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main St., Franklin, Virginia. The Rev. J.J. Ferguson will officiate. The interment will be in St. Paul U.C.C. Cemetery immediately following the visitation.
