FRANKLIN

On Saturday, a Franklin man was arrested on a charge of domestic assault, according to city police spokesman Sgt. Scott Halverson.

Franklin officers were called to 819 Cool Spring Road for a reported stabbing. On arrival, they found Gregory Monte Epps, 41, suffering from a cut to his wrist.

Investigation revealed that Epps and Trevia Thomas had been arguing through the night and into the morning.

Base on the evidence and witnesses interviewed, Epps was also charged with strangulation and preventing someone from calling 911. He was released on a secured bond.
