Franklin Police Department spokesman Sgt. Scott Halverson confirmed on Tuesday afternoon about a report of two windows damaged at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center on Oak Street.

“There was damage to two windows, that looked like pellets or bb’s,” he told The Tidewater News.

The event appears to have taken place either late Saturday or on Sunday, said Halverson, adding, “An employee left Saturday at 1500 hours (3 p.m.) and did not see any damage at that time. It was found Monday morning when the employees arrived for work.”
