CAPRON

Reading is fun to Heru Khalifah and his mother, Nadirah Khalifah. They were part of the family reading night that took place recently in Capron Elementary School, and was hosted by Reading Specialist Kathy Thompson. Each child that attended the school event received several free books and a bookmark. Then the children were able to gather in the library and read a book with their parents and take an Accelerated Reader test. The object of the night was to promote literacy with our families and get everyone excited about learning to read and reading to learn. It was an enjoyable, fun night for all who attended our gathering.
