Trains take you places

Last Saturday afternoon, Debra Holt of Scottswood brought her grandson, Fen Holt, 6, to see the trains running round and round on the multi-leveled displays. These were in the Southampton Agricultural and Forest Museum, which was open — in spite of the rain — for the annual Down Home Days.

Did you miss the event? Not to worry.

The museum is regularly open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday March through November. Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for school-age children; pre-schoolers admitted for free.
