Dear Editor,

In regards to the Franklin city manager and city counsel considering an increase in personal property tax I would greatly appreciate the answer to this question: “At what point do you think the personal property tax in Franklin is an unfair burden to the citizens?”

Quite frankly, I’m already there! In my opinion whatever you get it’s never enough, and in a couple years you will be back with your hand out. When is enough is enough?

Consider this: Retired people on fixed incomes could actually be taxed out of their homes and made homeless by the city!

I actually believe city counsel has a plan: Zero growth; No new business development; no new homes being constructed; and nobody wanting to live here anymore!

You are off to a dynamite start!
