FHS Nurse’s Aide students complete clinicals

FRANKLIN
At the Fall and Winter Athletic Awards Banquet on March 4, the following Broncos were presented the Sportsmanship Award for their positive leadership of their teams and outstanding representation of Franklin High School:
• Juhan Carr (Winter 2019 - Boys Basketball)
• Taliha Sweat (Fall 2018 - Cheerleading)
• Miracle Monger (Winter 2019 - Girls Basketball)
• Kemond Rogers (Fall 2018 - Football)
This award ceremony was implemented this school year to recognize FHS athletes who display good sportsmanship, which is an area of focus for the Virginia High School League. These student-athletes were nominated by their coaches to be the recipients of this award. -- Submitted Suzanne Blythe

COURTLAND
Franklin High School Nurse’s Aide 2 students completed 20 hours of clinical experience with Anita Willis, administrator, and Angela Joyner, director of Human Resources for Courtland Health & Rehabilitation.
The students learned so much over the past two weeks from the friendly and caring staff at Courtland.
The next two weeks, students will be going to East Pavilion, Monday through Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
