Capron Elementary School is happy to announce that kindergarten teacher Katie Holland is the 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year.

This award is given to the person who goes above and beyond the regular duties of a teacher to truly make an impact on a school. Holland inspires all students to learn and finds creative ways to make the material accessible to her students and stays up-to-date with the best practices.

Her methods of teaching appeal to the varying styles of learning that are unique to each student in order to help the child reach his full potential.

Holland has a passion for teaching, a love for kids and a strong work ethic. We are proud of her dedication that help to make Capron Elementary School a success.
