For the opening games of the 2019 youth baseball season it was chilly and raining during the second game. However, the games went on and the action was interesting as many youth hit the field for the first time.

The 10 a.m. opening T-ball game featured the Red versus Purple teams. Following that game, the Maroon versus the Royal Blue teams played.

The youth baseball league is sponsored by the Down the Middle Foundation and the Franklin Department of Parks & Recreation.

All T-ball games will be held every Saturday morning beginning at 10 o’clock on the Armory Drive Recreational Park.
