Windsor High School’s cosmetology salon is now open to the public. Community members can schedule appointments for hair services, as well as facials, waxing, manicures and pedicures. Walk-ins are also accepted.

All services are overseen by a licensed cosmetology instructor. The salon will be open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hair services include haircuts, hair color, treatments, permanent waving and styling. Haircuts for children and men start at $5, haircuts for women start at $10, and most other services cost between $5 and $35. The money will go back into the cosmetology program, and is intended to cover the cost of the cosmetology supplies students will use.

Appointments may be scheduled by calling 242-3347. More information on Isle of Wight County Schools’ cosmetology program can be found on Twitter by following @IWCScosmetology or on Instagram by following @isleofwightcosmetology. The cosmetology salon is located inside of Windsor High School at 24 Church St.
