Meherrin Elementary students had a blast celebrating their 100th day of school. The 100th day of school is celebrated in schools all around the country. It is the perfect time for students to have fun with the number 100.

Students celebrated the 100th day of school by designing their own shirts displaying a collection of 100 items such as feathers, candies, stars, and even dressing as 100-year-old men and women.

They celebrated how much they have grown and learned since September. This day provided opportunities for your students to both practice math and also sharpen their observational skills. Students are happily aware that there are only 80 days left! It was a fun-filled day at Meherrin.
