BOYKINS — Norfleet “Fleet” Wayne Fowler, 67, passed away at his home in Boykins, Virginia, on Feb. 21, 2019.

Norfleet was born in Franklin and grew up in Hunterdale. He was predeceased by his father, Floyd Quinton Fowler, and mother, Mary Louise Stephens Fowler.

Norfleet had a love for baseball, football, WWE wrestling and history, especially Civil War history.

He was a dedicated employee of D&D Auto, Franklin Equipment and Severn Peanut.

He was a member of Hunterdale Christian Church. Norfleet loved all people, never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Floyd Stephen Fowler (Sandra), Cheryl Fowler Baldwin and Robin Fowler Edwards ( Michael); stepmother, Barbara Fowler. Special extended family Rusty Bradshaw; his two remaining aunts, Virginia Norfleet and Jean Price; his nieces and nephews, Chris Baldwin, Holly Baldwin, Ryan Vann (Krystal), Mandi Edwards Ferguson (Michael), Michael Colby Edwards, Tracey Fowler Piper and Floyd Stephen Fowler II (Courtney); and a multitude of friends.

His celebration of life ceremony will be in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, on Saturday, March 2, at 2 pm.
