FRANKLIN — Bobby Wilson Lee, 75, passed away on Feb. 20, 2019.

Bobby was the grandson of the late Paul and Pearl Newsome, and son of the late Aubrey Wilson Lee and Lena Newsome “Kitty” Lee.

Bobby was in the auto parts business all of his life and for many years owned Southside Auto Parts in Franklin.

He was also a former National Guardsman.

Bobby’s biggest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren.

Bobby is survived by three sons, Jonathan “Jon” Lee (Becca) and twins, Jason A. “Jay” Lee (Rose) and Michael P. “Mike” Lee; three grandchildren, Wynsten Taylor Lee, Jaxon Wilson Lee and Jason Owen Lee; his former wife and lifelong friend, Laverne Bradshaw Lee; his beloved companion, JoAnn Lee; four step-children Tammy Goddard, Lisa Carol (Bobby), Scott Goddard and Sean Goddard (Stephanie); and 10 step-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26, in Wright Funeral Home, Franklin, with the Rev. Jim Foreman of Sedley Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday in the funeral home, and requests that memorial donations be made to Sedley Baptist Church, 17494 Johnson’s Mill Road, Sedley, VA 23878.
