The FHS January Student of the Month is Grace Goode. Grace is a strong academic student, always pushing herself to excel in her studies. She’s a multi-sport athlete (volleyball, girls’ soccer) and is an active participant in Upward Bound. She has graced our theatre program with her talents for four years, serving as a skilled actor in several shows; being our makeup maven, teaching others how to create their characters through greasepaint; and just recently, has stepped up to try her hand at student directing. She also is the student representative to our FCPS school board, meeting regularly with that group to assure that they hear the “voice” of FHS students.

She works hard to balance her grades with all her extracurricular activities, but never forgets her significant responsibilities at home with her family. Grace is definitely a quiet leader to her peers, and an asset to our FHS family.
