Chamber accepting nominations for 2018 Business Award

Nominations are now being accepted for the prestigious Franklin-Southampton Area Chamber Business of the Year Award. Although not required, you are strongly encouraged to add a few notes on why you think this business should be selected as the 2018 honoree. The award will be presented at the Chamber’s 65th annual meeting, and the date will be announced.

Businesses must be a member in good standing of the Chamber, should positively impact the community through its products and/or services, be a responsible employer with community involvement and must have been in business for at least three years.

Attributes may include:

• Performance – Impact on the local economy by hiring new employees and maintaining business growth.

• Innovation – creativity and ingenuity in new products/services offered.

• Leadership – positive response to problems or methods used to overcome adversity; the use of resources to help the community.

• Quality – outstanding levels of customer satisfaction and reputation; outward appearance of facility.

• 2016 – Billie Turner / The Village at Woods Edge

• 2017 – Craig, Nathan and Mike Sawyer – Repair Tech Industrial Contractors
