FRANKLIN
Continuing his yearly routine, Santa Claus stopped in Franklin on Saturday to have milk and cookies with the boys and girls in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center. On this visit, Santa was accompanied by Mrs. Claus and one of his top elves.

The staff at the King Center had planned a great day of fun with various games/activities and, of course milk and cookies along with popcorn, sno-cones and nachos.

For a special treat this year, Mrs. Claus read to the youth several Christmas stories, which included “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

Afterward, the couple took photos with all youth and others who were young in heart.

The event with Santa was sponsored by the Franklin Department of Parks & Recreation.
