Virginia G. Bryant

COURTLAND — Virginia Green Bryant, 86, widow of Felix “Truman” Bryant, passed away on Dec. 10, 2018, in her home.

She was born on March 13, 1932, in Halifax, North Carolina, to the late William David Green and Ruth Clemons Green.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley H. Cutchins and husband, Wayne; one sister, Marjorie Marie Holleman; one brother, Michael Wayne Green and wife, Molly; four grandchildren, Virginia Annette Davies and husband, George; Margaret Liles and husband, David; Susan Bowen and husband, Troy; and Wayne Cutchins Jr. and wife, Jill; and six great-grandchildren, Caitlin Liles, Bryant Liles, Kelli Bowen, Noah Bowen, Christian Cutchins and Cameron Davies.

Special thanks to her caregivers, Jaime Rogers, Ann Matthews, Erica Robertson, Nikki Hobbs, Century Hospice, and Dr. Ponder for their love and tenderness to her and her family.

The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12, in Poplar Spring Cemetery with the Rev. David Roberts officiating.

The family will receive friends at 29125 Darden Point Road, Courtland, and requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Sycamore Baptist Church Van Fund or Back Pack Program.
