FRANKLIN — Juanita Hill Cotton, 93, widow of Allen Francis “Pat” Cotton, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 8, 2018.

Mrs. Cotton was a native of Hertford County, North Carolina, and was a daughter of the late Luther J. and Maude Harper Hill. She was also predeceased by a son, Ed P. Cotton, and a sister, Delores H. Godina.

Survivors include two daughters, Denise C. Harcum (David) of Sandston, Jennifer C. Harrell (Randy,) and a daughter–in-law, Wanda V. Cotton, all of Franklin; seven grandchildren, Carla Vaughan (Doug,) Andrea Cotton, Heather Harrell, Erin Harcum (Charlie,) Luke Harrell (Nicole,) Leigh Harcum and Jamie Story (Kendall;) and 10 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, in Sycamore Baptist Church, 31120 Sycamore Church Road, Franklin, with the Rev. David Roberts and the Rev. Dr. Roger Crump officiating. The burial will follow in the Cotton Family Cemetery.

There will be a reception and visitation one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
