ZUNI — Ginger Lois Matthews Pittman, 82, passed away on Nov. 9, 2018.

A native of Portsmouth, she was a member of Windsor Baptist Church.

Ginger is survived by her daughters, Theresa K. Pulley, Kim Bartholomew and Donna Claud; a special niece, Desiree Pittman Reid; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Dale Matthews; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral was on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m., in Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, Suffolk, with the Rev. Dr. Bryan Brooks officiating. Burial followed in Holly Lawn Cemetery, Suffolk.

Friends joined the family for a time of visitation on Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
