WALTERS
The Virginia Department of Transportation’s Capron bridge crew has closed a section of State Route 641 (Bows and Arrows Road) to replace the superstructure of the bridge going over Duck Swamp. Work is scheduled to be completed by Thursday, Nov. 1, weather permitting.

VDOT advises motorists to use the following detour route during construction: Travel south on U.S. Route 258 (Walters Highway) to Route 614 (River Run Trail.) Go west on Route 614 appropriately 1.2 miles to Route 648 (Duck Town Road.) Turn right, then travel north on Route 648 back to Route 641 (Bows and Arrows Road.)
