BEAUFORT, S.C. — Reuben J. Scheidt, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct 17, 2018.

Born in Salvador Sask, Canada, in 1935, he worked in building management at the Pentagon and White House from 1953-1973.

He was beloved by his late wife, Hazel Scheidt, who died in 2009.

Reuben is survived by a brother, Robert D. Scheidt of Fort Morgan, Colorado; brother-in-law, Jack Queen of Sedley, Virginia; and nieces, Kim Kaiser of Littleton, Colorado, and Denise Ostwald of Georgetown, Colorado.

The funeral will be at the Morningside Assisted Living in Beaufort, South Carolina.
