Current board should not take action on courthouse

To the Editor:
I am requesting that the Southampton County Board of Supervisors delay any further action on updating or replacing the Southampton County Courthouse until after the Board of Supervisor Election next year, 2019.
It is obvious that the current Board of Supervisors has lost the confidence of their constituents .
Before deciding to commit this county to 25 to 30 million dollar or more in additional debt. The tax payers and voters have the right to have a board that they have confidence in making the decisions.
