The GFWC Tarrara Woman’s Club is hosting a forum for Southampton County residents to meet the two candidates for treasurer: Cindy Edwards and Rhonda Griffin.

This will be an opportunity to learn their platforms before making an informed decision in the election on Nov. 6.

The forum will be in the fellowship hall of Boykins United Methodist Church on Thursday, Oct. 18, at 7 p.m.

The club is also collecting gently used shoes to support its state project “Soles 4 Souls” for the prevention of human trafficking. Those residents attending are asked to bring any shoes they can to this meeting to help the club in its endeavor.
