JAVA — Conrad N. Holt Jr., 80, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018, in his home in Java.

He was born in Suffolk, Virginia, to the late Conrad Holt Sr. and Inez Lowe Holt, on March 21, 1938.

He was a skilled crane operator, served in the Marines and reserves, and was a Quaker.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 38 years, Rochelle L. Holt; daughters, Lora Worsham and Karen Chaney (Jerry;) sisters, Carolynn H. Ellis-Tart (Phil) and Jean Paige Galtress (Bill:) grandchildren, Ryan Randall (Jennifer,) Josh Randall (Lisa,) Jeddy Blythe, Robert Blythe, Sean Hetman; great-grandchildren, Fiona Randall, Rory Randall, Finley Randall and Shayne Blythe; stepchildren, Rachelle Hamilton (Elec,) Rhonda Lee and Carter Lee (Cherie;) step-grandchildren, Corbin Hamilton, Sydney Lee and Ray Baggett; and many other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his brother, Merle R. Holt; and a sister, Sherry Holt Pickens.

A memorial service will be in Corinth Friends Meeting, Corinth Road, Ivor, on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 2 p.m. Burial will be at a later date.
